If you are a student of 9/11 or JFK, you should already know the name Jim Fetzer, and you should have at least read Murder in Dealy Plaza. Jim has a radio show on Revere Radio Network called the Real Deal, where he addresses the topics he is passionate about. He also has a blog and publishes articles on Veterans Today. Let me start off by saying that I listen religiously to his shows and find them very entertaining and informative, but every once in a while he’ll have a guest on that leaves you scratching your head. I love Jim’s personality, especially when he gets excitable…but sometimes he seems to be preoccupied and lets the guest incessantly ramble on unquestioned. Case in point, his interview with Lenny Bloom, or Nelson Thall as he is known on The Conspiracy Show with Richard Syrett. Or the most recent with Hailey Ottus aka Agent Ladybug aka Elizabeth Windsor. I first heard her last June or July, not sure because the podcast was pulled a day after it was posted. Some crazy things were being posited by this lady concerning the JFK and MLK assassinations. She claims to be the sister of “Raoul”, the guy James Earl Ray claims set him up. She also says she has known the murderer of JFK since childhood, and that he continues to murder to this very day.
She also claims the guy who was photographed in Mexico City posing as Oswald, is the guy who killed JFK’s cousin. Who she also attributes to shooting a non detonation gun, which caused the throat wound on JFK. And that he is seen on the Zapruder film wearing a bulletproof vest and firing his weapon. Oh and that this guy was also in the Civil Air Patrol picture with Lee Oswald and David Ferrie. The one standing in front of Oswald.
Back to Jim Fetzer and Hailey Ottus, the latest woman to capture Fetzer’s heart and mind…see also Madeline Duncan Brown, Judyth Vary Baker, and Judy Woods…. As a journalist and radio host, he should know by now that you cant just run with a story without vetting it a little bit. If it were me, I would have called the Toronto police and Clyde Forshaw myself (she gave him his phone number and address) just to do a little investigation before unleashing this woman’s story on the world without getting the other side of the story. Jim actually published to the world all of the phone numbers and addresses that this woman gave him. A simple call to Clyde Forshaw, the accused murderers son, from a fellow Fetzer fan, Ted Rubenstein, alleges that this woman is a former jilted girlfriend, certifiably loony toons, that she has done this before and the Toronto police are aware of her activity and stalker-ish behavior. Instead Jim is falling for this hook, line, and sinker. Being worried about this lady’s safety because this “man is wearing Scottish garb and oversize shoes” which means he means he is about to kill again…Really?…Seriously?…Ok I’m back, sorry i was laughing my ass off there for a minute. Jim Fetzer touts logic and critical thinking, but sometimes I think he forgets to use it. He even went so far as to submit “tips” to the FBI about this guy and try to contact them via phone.
Does the “Vaulting Bandit” and the “Geezer” Bandit look anything alike?
Also this guy is supposed to be in his 70’s now, and doubt he’s vaulting anything now….COMMON SENSE!
In closing, just let me say that while I don’t always agree with it, I love Jim Fetzer’s work and I wish more researchers were as passionate as he is. People say Jim is boisterous and incessantly repetitive, well there is a reason…he doesn’t want you to forget the facts of the case. Carry on Dr. Fetzer, keep up the good fight, and remember when you can (make a couple calls) vet your sources so you dont end up looking like a boob or subject yourself to a lawsuit. The accused are private citizens, not public figures and they can sue. Alfred Forshaw had to seek Jim out to get him his side of the story….
The article on Veterans Today has since been removed, probably at the behest of Alfred Forshaw. On Jim’s blogspot for his radio show, it looks like Alfred found him there, but the comment has been removed, but the article was still up as of this morning, on or about 29 December 2012.
